Samantha Alley has been selling real estate in the Corvallis, Albany, Lebanon and Philomath areas since 1994. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant for several agents in an independent office in Philomath. Since 1994 Samantha has helped over 2000 families achieve their real estate goals and dreams. Samantha has built a team of professionals that assist her in making each client’s purchase or sale smooth from start to close.
As the principal broker for The Home Team, Samantha reviews each client’s needs to determine exactly how they can be best served during their purchase, sale, or investment. The team is divided into two different sides and utilizes agents and support staff that are thoroughly trained in each area using their natural gifts and abilities. This creates a team atmosphere where each team member enjoys their job and does it well. Our clients can see the difference as each team member takes ownership of their area of expertise.
Prior to signing a listing contract our Listing Specialists go through the entire marketing plan and advise on various issues affecting a seller’s decision to sell, remodel, rent the home, or just stay in place. Samantha’s goal for sellers is to help them make a solid decision that is right for their family. This may mean they do not sell the house at that time. Because this is a full-time career that Samantha and our team plan to pursue for many years, we understand the necessity of time given freely up front in the form of good advice. Our focus is centered on the relationship with the client rather than the transaction. This often creates a lifelong rapport of trust and referrals, allowing us to build our business one relationship at a time through caring and knowledge.
Once a client has a signed sale contract for their property, the transaction coordinator starts processing all of the paperwork, allowing their agent to concentrate on the client and their needs rather than the paper shuffling. Each year more and more paper is added to each transaction and the transaction gets more complicated. The transaction coordinator makes certain that all of the time frames are adhered to, and the paperwork is sent to all of the right people in a timely manner. This person also coordinates with escrow and the lender making certain that everyone is informed of the client’s wishes.
Each month we send out an item of value to our clients, and once a quarter we host a gratitude gathering where we show our appreciation for our clients, vendors, and extended referral team. It is always so much fun to deepen relationships through a party, so 4 times a year we host one. 80-95% of Samantha’s personal business comes by referral. We pour our time, energy, and resources into clients both past and present, instead of spending it on self-promotion. By conducting our business this way, we have found that the clients take care of us with referrals of their friends, family and business associates. This makes it so that our clients get better service and more personal attention, and we have a thriving, growing business that provides for our families and team members.
